New Hearing Aid Technology.....

Kinda cool. Check it out DAD :) The NY Times has a great write-up on it, just visit : http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/15/health/15well.html?em&ex=1208577600&en=4eb40a33c86b485c&ei=5087%0A Not sure if that will show up and let you click on it. If not, I guess take the lo-tech method and copy and paste into your browser window. Also, the title *should* link. It is a great option for all of the 'older' (and maybe younger, although I know BTEs seem to be the best option for the little ones) people who do not want a visible hearing aid, which may or may not include one of my parental units :)

It appears to work really well for some individuals, and they are hoping in the near future that it will work for close to 80% of people that wear hearing aids. Pretty cool, if you ask me. I know I'm lame at posting links (I blame my Mac), but it's worth the cut and paste.

Also, the company website is: www.lyrichearing.com, for those who would like more info.

It's not an option for most kids though. Can't attach an FM for one thing.

I agree :) I'm thinking this is more for adult HA users. I'm just hoping to sway my dad into realizing that he really does *need* one.... so we don't have to yell at him all the time. But, I like seeing innovative technology.
