Emily Used Her Birthday Money and Bought Heelys.....
with cautious maternal approval- more like she wore me down over the last few years. I'm not sure we can afford them. On our hill the odds of an accident are high. That said, we have set very specific ground rules in place, but I will say- the bright yellow sticker that covers the spot where you pop in the wheel was a big frightening. Something to the effect: By removing this sticker, you hereby absolve the Heely company from any liability should injury or DEATH occur. Nice touch.....

Oh man. It's okay, most of the time I just see kids gliding along after their moms at the grocery store. She'll probably be fine.
Ack! There are times I'm glad my oldest is two! I don't think the Heely's fad will go away anytime soon, though...
There are a ton of kids around here with them, and I don't see too many kids running around in casts... I can only assume they aren't getting injured in record numbers. Maybe you can coat her in nerf!
