Delaney is getting 're-mapped' tomorrow.....

Which basically means we are making adustments to her cochlear implant's program. Now that she has been wearing it consistantly, she has found that she needs it to be louder. So, I am THRILLED to be needing this appointment, and hopeful that she'll love her updated map - Yes, I'm sure I am way too optimistic, but I'm a glass half-full kind of girl :)

Maybe I'll have Delaney post tomorrow all about her mapping appointment- Good homework assignment for her!

Oh, I'd love to read her take on the mapping process. I can only imagine that she'd be pleased since it seems like each new map just brings with it more clarity. I don't remember if you've said which brand she wears, but apparently the Freedom by Cochlear just adjusted their software to enhance listening to music. Ethan has new "music maps" on both ears. Too bad he can't tell us what he thinks yet!

I hope it went well! Erin has a mapping this Friday. Fun, fun.

BTW, you've been tagged by me, too. Sorry! :p

Hi, I am a product designer at Virginia Tech working on developing a better designed hearing aid. If anyone who wears a hearing aid (kids and/or adults) could take my short survey it would be very helpful. Thanks! (I am limited to hearing aids only and not cochlear implants for this project).

Cooper-

Fortunately, we have plenty of those as well :)

I will take the survey tomorrow (or have the kids help).

And, I'll visit you all to see what I've been tagged for tomorrow :) I still owe everyone Delaney's update, but we got home really late. It went great, but it was a long mapping session. I'm really happy with the results, other than the fact that the Audi. broke her implant.......
