I don't like to share....

Now that the kids are home full-time, we're sharing the one computer we have that's working. IT'S NOT WORKING! I'm finding that I don't like to share :) I have such a small window to pop onto the computer, and when I have to fight my girls (and boy) for it's use, I just give up.

So- I have one solution. I get a new one - LOL. I'll keep you all posted on how this goes. In the meantime I promise to kick my kids off at least once a day so I can say 'hello'.

I'm having to share too. My friend suggested I get a spare, like a laptop...this way I could carry it anywhere. That sounds like such a luxury, maybe one day!

Oh wouldn't that be nice.....a mobile computer :) I'd be a menace on the freeway-LOL.

Hey?!

Inquiring minds want to know what type of laptop/desktop you're thinking about and why.

Do you want a Mac? A Windows-based system?

And! Plus! You're going to learn about networks, too!

Anyway, I'm hooked. I'd love to read more on this.

Thanks!

I'm glad my kids are too young to want the use of our computer! I don't think I'd be very good at sharing it, either. I don't know about a laptop- I might never get off the durned thing!

Paotie-

To answer the question- I'm a Mac lover- I'll settle for a newer iMac, but I'd love a Mac Pro. That said, there is something to be said for mobility, so I'd love a laptop, maybe a Macbook???

Why? I started on a Mac, went to Intel systems/PCs for years and was hit with virus after virus, went back to a Mac, and now have the best of both worlds (Intel processor, and Mac).

Yes?

Melissa ..

I have a MacBook Pro. I love it.

And nobody uses my laptop, either. We have a network here and we have enough computers for everyone but nobody touches my laptop.

Nobody!

HaHa!

I love my laptop. Best investment I've ever made as far as computers go.

Cool beans!
