We now own riverfront property

We have a broken pipe somewhere in our water system. The water was just flowing down our hillside into our lower lawn. While normally I find the sound of rushing water soothing, all I can think of is the future water bill.

We have been waterless since yesterday afternoon, so we are all sitting here, waiting for the plumber so we can shower, etc.
I'll keep everyone posted :)

I'm paraying hard that we'd have a big quake that'll turn my desert acreage into waterfront property.

I spend much of my life in So Cal and can relate to those thoughts :) Although, I think, had it happened we would have wound up floating somewhere in the Pacific-LOL

I was really hoping this one was in reference to purchasing a vacation home! Plumbers are so expensive- I hope nothing suffered any water damage!

Nope- I wish. A vacation home sounds fantastic right about now. Actually it ended up being a broken sprinkler pipe, but due to our location at the bottom of a steep hill, our water pressure is through the roof :)

Hopefully pvc pipe is cheap-LOL
