Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow....

We do not get a lot of snow here- mainly rain. However, we have the possibility of some snow today, and you would think it was Christmas morning. My children are beside themselves. We'll be lucky if we get any that sticks, and by tomorrow it is going to be warmer and windy, but for now all that matters is that the white stuff may be falling soon. We'll be right there in the thick of it, since Delaney has a soccer game this morning, but at least the other kids will get the full (COLD) snow experience. I will have to use my powers of persuasion on the kids, and NOT let them pack their sleds, since I don't think they'll run well on cold grass :)

Ironically, we once lived where snow was a plenty, and it was definitely not appreciated all that much. I guess maybe the grass IS always greener. But, for now, Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

Living up near Buffalo, we certainly don't appreciate the snow! LOL. I grew up in California, though, and always had a fascination with it when I was a kid. It is exciting when it only happens once in a while, though!

Same here- I grew up in Orange County (for the most part), so really loved snow....until I had kids who traipsed into the house w/ wet, snowy clothes-LOL! Here in the Pacific Northwest we get lots of rain, and typically ICE (which I hate).

Stay warm!

Ha! I went to UCI so I was in OC for about 4 years (my grandparents used to live there). Now the entire family is up in the Ventura area and I really miss the warm weather! I grew up in Riverside so I'm used to hot weather and the snow is definitely a different experience.

I'll bet- My husband spent his early years in Buffalo, and then lived in El Toro- We met at UCSB. UCI was a great school (just too close to home). Loved Santa Barbara and Ventura- just too expensive and no jobs right out of college :)

I was about to whine about living near Cleveland, but we don't hold a candle to Buffalo on the snow meter.

I love it, though. I don't get tired of it until late February.

Haha! My husband went to UCSB. We did actually have jobs there, but our income went straight to apartment rent! We'll be in Cleveland soon, since we're flying out of there to get to California (direct flights- yay)! I think it's only about 3 hours from Jamestown. We're getting 1-2 feet of the white stuff today- blah.

And we didn't even get an inch. But I did get great pictures of the kids w/ snowflakes swirling around them/ Enjoy the snow :)
