Frustrating day ahead....
Our Audiologist canceled our appointment today (w/ reason: she called in sick). But it is so frustrating when you've been waiting for an appointment to arrive, and then they cancel. And then, you can't reschedule for 2 or 3 weeks. I know Jake's hearing is worse, I really would like his hearing aids adjusted. Just a small vent. Don't you all wish you had a soundbooth in your house at times, and could do your own testing - he he!

Oh tell me about it! We are a whopping 3 hours from our Ci audiologist. That's as much a pain as having appts. cancelled, especially when you are trouble-shooting problems. I wish we could move!
It's a shame they can't get him in sooner, 2 or 3 weeks is a long time to wait when we're talking about hearing. Jeez!
Waiting is so hard, especially when you know there is a change in hearing level! I am definintely not good at waiting. Our audi is 2 hours away, so it takes a bit of scheduling for every appointment (to make sure I have someone to watch the toddler). He finds ABR equipment endlessly fascinating and wants to take it all apart...
O.K.- You have both put it in perspective for me :) I don't know how you do it, having to travel so far for Audiology. At least ours is pretty close, and because my son goes to a great little private school, specially in AVT, the school audiologist is cramming him in this week. I won't complain again.....I still think you both should pursue 'home' soundbooths (((hugs))))
