First Day of School With Implant Only

Delaney survived the weekend using only her cochlear implant, and did fairly well. We had a few moments of pout, but all in all she did great. We did let her put her hearing aid on to make a phone call on Sunday (she claims not to be able to hear well on the phone with her CI, but I don't think her Auria has a telecoil built in....I need to check on that). However, she willingly gave back her hearing aid, and said that actually she hears better with her implant than her aid (yay!). So- hopefully her first day at school, sans hearing aid went well.
